Information about the .mpt (mpt) file type

Below is all the information we have available on file about the .mpt (mpt) file type.

.mpt

Microsoft Project template file. This file is used by Microsoft Project. It defines a template which is used by Microsoft Project when a new project is created.

The default project template (which is created automatically by Microsoft Project and most users are not even aware of) is called global.mpg.
