Information about the .force (force) file type

Below is all the information we have available on file about the .force (force) file type.

.force

Microsoft Visual Studio file.

build.force

A file used by Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and 2008. The file is blank and serves as a flag to Visual Studio that the project needs to be recompiled.

The file (if it exists) is located in the obj\Debug or obj\Release folder for the project. The file is automatically deleted by Visual Studio once the project has been recompiled.
